Spring Wildlife Arrives at Our Patio Water Feature
Spring wildlife returns to our landscaped garden pond and fountain, providing peaceful contemplation for residents in our glass conservatory.

Springtime at Harrowby Lodge is always accompanied by the welcome return of local wildlife to our expansive landscaped grounds. This April, a pair of nesting mallards took up residence near our garden water feature, much to the delight of our residents.
From the warm, comfortable vantage of our glass conservatory lounge, residents have been observing the ducks and local songbirds daily. Binoculars and wildlife identification guides are kept readily available on the lounge coffee tables.
Connecting with the natural world has well-documented calming effects, reducing anxiety and promoting a relaxed, peaceful mindset. Residents often take their morning tea by the conservatory windows to watch the birds feeding in our courtyard.
As warmer summer days approach, guided garden walks allow residents to enjoy the peaceful sounds of running water, flowering borders, and panoramic views of the historic Grantham skyline.
